2. ELECTRICITY OPTIONS TRADING WORKSHOP - LEVEL 2, 6 HRS

d-cyphaTrade begun running electricity Options Trading Workshops during 2008, providing an introduction to option hedging strategies for energy companies and option volatility trading techniques for financial trading specialists. The Options Trading Workshops provides practical electricity option trading insights rather than drawing heavily on theoretical options-related mathematics. During September 2008, options trading volumes (MWh) exceeded underlying NEM system demand.

The course presenter is Dean Price (d-cyphaTrade's General Manager) who was a professional options market maker on the "open outcry" floor of the SFE for over 8 years before commencing electricity trading in 1999.
